We are perfectly imperfect human beings and often need someone to help sort through life's challenges. For more than a decade, I have greatly enjoyed working in both residential and outpatient settings with individuals, couples and families that are affected by mood disorders, addiction, trauma and interpersonal conflict. Maybe you are feeling stuck, hopeless, overwhelmed, or discouraged?
Perhaps you are struggling with relationships, substance misuse, sexuality, or having difficulty managing stress/anxiety at work/school, or with life in general. My counseling approach is eclectic in nature and geared towards your individual needs. I borrow from dialectical behavior and cognitive behavior therapies (DBT/CBT) primarily as well as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and encourage mindfulness. This is a journey we can walk together in a safe and supportive environment exploring your strengths and cultivating strategies to increase hope, resiliency and joy.
