I graduated with my B.S. in Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2015. I spent four years in Philadelphia working with for a company that provided me experience in the complex interactions between an individual’s healthcare and the overarching systems that affect access to, cost of, and education around physical and mental healthcare. This opportunity helped me realize my passion for working with individuals to not only help them along in their journey to wellness, but to also act as an advocate for those who struggle within the complexities of the healthcare system.
I decided to return to school to pursue my Master’s in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University. Now in my second year, I have begun my first clinical internship at the Metro Nashville Family Safety Center in the Domestic Violence Family Intervention Program.
When I’m not busy with work or school, you can find me running around Nashville’s various trails and spending time with friends, my dog, and two cats.
